Vancouver Sun Run, April 15th, 2007
It was a perfect day for running. It was was a bit cool at the start but very comfortable in the sun.
A Record 54,317 Sign Up for The 2007 Vancouver Sun Run. Canada's largest 10K road race just got larger as a record 54,317 registered to make up the 23rd edition of the Vancouver Sun Run presented by HSBC Canada. It was a triumphant celebration of health, fitness and community spirit as the 2006 record of 50,746 registrants was smashed.

There were two bands just in the starting area it was so large. There were people overflowing into the side streets.

Each group was lead to the stating area.
The front runners locked arms so the group would stay together.
As I walked past the cleanup crew in the starting area, rather tired looking sweaty runners were walking toward the start area. I thought, boy they are late starters -- but they had finished the race before everyone had started!
