We went to a winery built by a number of German investors. It was very nice. The vineyards were meticulously maintained and the winery equipped with modern equipment. There was a restaurant with a beautiful view of the vineyards and a man made pond. To grow the grape a lot of chemicals - fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides etc. need to be used.

I hope there are not many more developments like this. To create the vineyards the jungle had to be completely stripped and now chemicals are pumped in the environments.
